Moxa CP-114EL Series of smart, 4-port PCI Express boards designed for POS and ATM applications are a top choice of industrial automation engineers and system integrators, and support many different operating systems, including Windows, Linux, and UNIX.

Moxa has designed a proprietary chip that is integrated with a dedicated
processor, allowing full duplex transmission speeds up to 921 Kbps across all ports
simultaneously. This is four times faster than the speed available using standard UART
technology.

ADDC™ (Automatic Data Direction Control)

ADDC™ relies on hardware to switch the transmitter on and off with high precision,
reducing the complexity of timing control by software. MOXA's industrial multiport communication board automatically senses and controls data direction using embedded ADDC™ technology instead of RTS/CTS signal control. With ADDC, the handshake signal method becomes obsolete.
