Axiomtek's ICO230 is a robust, fanless RISC-based embedded system purpose-built for demanding applications in factory automation, transportation wayside systems, and renewable energy. Powered by the NXP i.MX 8M-Plus processor, Axiomtek's ICO230 delivers reliable edge communication and gateway functionalities with minimal power consumption, enabling efficient and cost-effective operation in remote and demanding environments.

This efficient processor architecture provides robust computing capabilities while ensuring low power consumption, a critical factor for remote and energy-sensitive applications. Also, the strong parallel processing capability of RISC allows multiple instructions to be executed simultaneously at different stages.  Axiomtek's ICO230 features four isolated COM ports, two isolated CAN FD ports, and two Ethernet ports with 1.5 KV magnetic isolation, ensuring reliable communication and data integrity while minimizing electrical noise and interference in industrial environments. It also has two USB 2.0 ports and one HDMI port for enhanced connectivity and versatility.

Designed for challenging conditions, Axiomtek's ICO230 supports a temperature range from -40°C to +70°C and accepts a wide power input range of 9 to 48 VDC, providing flexibility across different deployment scenarios. Additionally, it withstands 5 Grms of vibration. Axiomtek's ICO230 also offers extensive expandability with an M.2 Key E 2230 slot for Wi-Fi/Bluetooth and a full-size PCIe Mini Card slot for LTE, plus an externally accessible SIM socket for simplified installation and maintenance.

With its fanless DIN-rail form factor, Axiomtek's ICO230 is optimized for easy installation in space-constrained environments such as sealed cabinets.
