Classified as power source equipment (PSE), Moxa IMC-P21GA-G2 media converters can provide up to 36 watts of power for heavy-duty industrial PoE devices, such as weather-proof IP surveillance cameras with wipers/heaters, high-performance wireless access points, and IP phones. Moxa IMC-P21GA-G2 media converters are highly versatile, and with SFP fiber ports, can transmit data high EMI immunity for up to 80 km from the device to the control center.

Redundant Power Inputs
Both power inputs can be connected simultaneously to live DC power sources. If one power source fails, the other live source acts as a backup, and automatically supplies all the IMC-P21GA-G2’s power needs.

Auto MDI/MDI-X Connection
The Auto MDI/MDI-X function allows users to connect the Moxa IMC’s 10/100/1000BaseT(X) ports to any kind of Ethernet device, regardless of the type of Ethernet cable used for the connection. This means that you can use either a straight-through cable or crossover cable to connect Moxa IMC to Ethernet devices.
