    Yes. Use the Maximum Connection function on supported Moxa Nport device servers to automatically send serial data to up to 8 host computers. You can designate which computer is the primary host. Each host receives the same data at the same time (i.e., automatic back up).

    Yes. Moxa Nport supports multiple primary hosts in the same network. Use the Command by Command mode on supported serial device servers. With this function, there is no need to synchronize all the host computers together.

    COM ports added using the NPort Administration Suite are not visible in the Windows Device Manager. If you need to check these COM ports, you can view the COM ports in the NPort Administrator. To see the COM ports in Windows Device Manager, use the NPort Windows Driver Manager to map the COM ports.

    Moxa Secure Terminal Servers (Nport 6000 series) offers an innovative Reverse Real COM mode. In this mode, Moxa NPort device server will actively initiate a connection to the remote host/server that is listed in the destination IP field after boot up.
